Our latest project in Draper, Utah is an innovative indoor pickleball facility set to redefine the sports and wellness experience, reimagining a former department store into a state-of-the-art recreational space. The club will feature:
- 8 Indoor Courts: Designed for optimal gameplay and comfort, ensuring a premier sports environment.
- Locker Rooms: Modern, spacious, and equipped with top-tier amenities.
- Pro Shop: A retail space dedicated to top-quality gear and accessories, driving additional revenue.
- Recovery Rooms: Featuring cutting-edge wellness technologies including a sauna, red light therapy and cryotherapy chamber.
This exciting project involves the transformation of a former large department store into a state-of-the-art sports facility. Key considerations included:
- Structure Height: Adapting the existing building to meet the height requirements of indoor courts.
- Sound Mitigation: Implementing advanced soundproofing to ensure an optimal acoustic environment.
- Maximizing Space Use: Efficiently repurposing the expansive floor plan to accommodate multiple courts and amenities.
We utilized the full spectrum of our in-house talent to bring this vision to life. Our talented interior designers worked closely on finish selections and creating an inviting atmosphere, while our permitting team ensured all regulatory requirements were smoothly navigated. Our MEP engineering team played a crucial role, particularly in optimizing the lighting design to provide ideal visibility and enhance the playing experience. Combined with our design team’s innovative solutions, we seamlessly integrated the owner’s ideas, particularly in court layout and overall design aesthetics.
